Belinha, an adorable dog, had been the constant companion of her owner, Telma Maria, for four years. Sadly, their time together came to an abrupt end recently. Nevertheless, Belinha’s affection and devotion towards her owner remain as strong as ever.
Maria, a resident of Brazil, passed away recently after battling cancer for a long time. Despite her declining health, Belinha stayed by her side and provided comfort to her. Maria found solace in the dog’s presence, and it helped uplift her spirits during her challenging time.
According to Dionsio Neto’s online statement, his mother, Maria, claimed that Belinha was her nurse, and she was a very loyal friend.
It was expected that Belinha would attend Maria’s funeral since she played a significant role in her life. She sat quietly with the rest of the family, seeming to comprehend the seriousness of the sad occasion.
The most significant event that affected Maria’s son was what happened next. Belinha amazed everyone by staying close to Maria during the entire service, just as she had always done when Maria was alive. Neto felt compelled to capture these emotional moments in photographs, and he expressed the idea that animals embody unconditional love.
Belinha couldn’t stop crying after the wedding and kept on weeping for Maria. To console her, Neto and some family members decided to take Belinha to visit her best friend’s new home. The visit appeared to soothe her and bring some relief.
Belinha, despite having never visited Maria’s grave before, managed to break free from her leash at the cemetery and raced to her owner’s final resting place. Neto was touched by the unbreakable bond that his mother shared with her beloved dog, as he spoke to Estadão newspaper. In death, Maria continues to teach him that love knows no bounds, not even between humans and animals. This heartwarming display of affection from Belinha proves that animal love is often underestimated in its power to heal and comfort us.
Over time, Belinha’s heart will eventually mend and find solace in the fact that Maria will always be close by. With Neto providing a permanent home for her, Belinha won’t have to endure the pain of loss all on her own.
